We can not reach our goals alone

I've survived! 

Blimey, that was a boiling hot run. The support and spirit of the race was just fabulous. At every turn there was somebody there cheering us on and telling us 'well done' and 'keep going'.

I've not run as fast for that far, ever before. . . It got me thinking; it just goes to show what support can do doesn't it? You can't always put your finger on exactly why support helps, but it's effects are undeniable. 

I ran this 10km in 56mins 35 seconds today. Before that my best was 59.58. That sounds like a tiny improvement but it was really hard in the heat to speed up when all I wanted to do was slow down!

Alone, I'd probably have slowed, together we kept going. 

It also got me thinking about my work. Small business owners come to me for sales training to help with their sales skills, sales strategy and approach. But they would also benefit massively from having continued support in addition to the sales training.
