Clarity & Execution. No Excuses

It’s been another monumental week. I’m sat here at 5:30pm on a Friday, glass of wine beside me, ready to share all!

Take a moment to pause with me. Reflect on your own week. What are you celebrating? What’s been a thorn in your side? What slipped through the cracks, and what did you absolutely nail that deserves a proper high five?

Right then. Let’s get to it.

This is Week 5 of 52. My fifth week into Mission to Million, and honestly, it’s been another powerful one.

Now, I want to pause for a second and reflect on that use of the word “I”. Because truthfully, although I do write this myself, I didn’t set the blog up, I didn’t design the graphics, and I didn’t fix the tech (which was a right fiddle, actually). That brings me to a big realisation I had today. One of those “OMG I’m a real adult” moments.

I was sat in the car next to Rick (my husband, we’ve been together since I was 19, more on him [HERE]), counting on my fingers, and suddenly shouted “HURRAH!” because I realised... I run a team of nine.

Nine.

I genuinely couldn’t believe it. My newest hire started her one-month trial today, and I’m hoping she’ll become our Client Experience fairy godmother. She’s here to make an already excellent client experience even better, especially as we are planning some big launches and preparing to open both the Revenue Generator Mastermind and Vibrant Connections membership to new clients soon.

Let me share my current team setup, because it might help you reflect on your own:

  • Me!

  • Rick (Husband, Co-Director, Chief Sense-Checker, FD) – 21 years together

  • Mel (Admin) – 4 years

  • Margot (Marketing & Events) – 3 years

  • Jade (Visual Branding) – 4 years

  • Lisa (Tech) – 3 years

  • Carole (Client Experience) – 1 day in

And just last month, I brought on two brand new Lead Coaches to join my leadership team. This feels like a big, exciting move.

Here’s why.

I’ve run my VIP sales strategy mastermind, The Elevate Circle, for over four years now. It’s phenomenal, and it delivers brilliant results, but it’s not scalable. It’s always full, and I rarely need to promote it, but it’s also reached a price point that’s no longer accessible for many of the people I most want to serve as the price is higher now.

So I’ve been exploring how to deliver something just as impactful, but at a different price point. And honestly? I’ve nailed it.

The Revenue Generator Mastermind is off to a flying start (we launched this in June), and bringing in Chris for one-to-one accountability coaching and Nicky for energy and joy activation in addition to the support I offer and all the other inclusions, has allowed me to offer a level of support that’s powerful, personal, and sustainable, without the VIP price tag.

Letting go of some of my past responsibilities and leaning into trust is where I’m at. I trust this team wholeheartedly, because I’ve known or worked with every single one of them for years. (Yes, even Carole, even though she only started today.)

Scaling to seven figures isn’t just about offers and marketing. It’s about leadership. It’s about shedding the version of yourself who did everything alone, the one who had no boundaries and ran the business on bursts of motivation rather than solid systems.

It’s about stepping into the role of conductor. You don’t need to play every instrument in the symphony, but you do need to trust each person to bring their part.

This is where self-trust must replace fear of failure.

Just to be clear, I still do a serious amount of work. I’m not swanning about next to an infinity pool (yet)! I wake up early. I run the team. This isn’t “delegate and detach”, I stay close to everything, and I take full responsibility for every offer, every decision, every share.

It’s a privilege, and I love my work. And when I look back and see how far this brand has come... I can see how I can trust myself to take it further still.

I remember exactly what it felt like to be stuck. Not enough leads. Not enough help. Feeling overwhelmed by ambition but unclear on how to channel it. But now, it feels like flow.

That said, I know that more hard weeks will come. I know I’ll hit walls, doubt myself, and face challenges that feel insurmountable. But not this week. (Yey.)

And because I know the tough waves often follow the good, or even run alongside them, I’ve decided to create something I’ve needed myself: a CEO Day Retreat for me and nine peers.

I have hundreds of clients who I adore, but leading a community is not the same as being in one. So I’ve created a space I know is profoundly needed.

The response so far has been wonderful. And while this wasn’t in my sales strategy, it feels like the right move at exactly the right moment. A space to connect, exchange, and expand with real conversations and generous peers.

So, what else do I need to tell you about?

It’s the school holidays, so naturally everything is a juggle, but I’m getting on with it and enjoying the ride. You might know my “marketing is a daily habit” mantra, and holidays are no exception.

Yesterday, a journalist contacted me to contribute to an article that goes live tomorrow. I’ll share that next week. I also had a great call today with a magazine who have asked me to be on their October cover. That feels like a level-up moment. There’s a difference between reading magazines, contributing to them, and being on the cover... and this feels completely aligned with the phase I’m in.

One thing I haven’t ticked off yet is my new freebie and list builder. The funnel I was building is done, but I haven’t had time to review it properly. It was meant to go live yesterday, and that’s frustrating. But honestly? I’m surrendering to summer. Not everything will get done exactly on my timeline. The kids come first, and this will go live on Monday. Four days late is still good enough.

So I’m closing the week happy.

July was exceptional. All nine of my sponsorships for The End of Year Extravaganza are now sold and secured - we will announce these soon. The event is almost full, and tickets are nearly gone. That alone feels like a huge win.

My confidence in this mission is growing.

My biggest challenge is currently making sure I’m not my own growth-blocker. I sometimes ask the team to do something and then don’t check it for days. But that’s life. The to-do list never ends, and that’s fine. Business runs in cycles. You can pause or build momentum at any time. This is a huge learning for me. I used to find it hard to slow down... I’m still not brilliant at it, in all honesty, but I’m getting better.

This weekend, I’ll be finishing the quiet work behind the scenes. I’ll review what the team has done, close open tasks, and make space for a fun week ahead. We have loads of guests coming next week and I can’t wait.

Apart from filling the last few Peer Day spaces, next week is looking light touch. I’ll take that as a win too.

Happy weekend.

Rest up, then get clear and get cracking!

Mission to Million continues.
