
I've been thrown off the blogging wagon, here's why...
Mission to Million, more like MIA, am I right Enfys?
I said I’d be updating you about my journey every week - and then I got so busy!
Since summer hit I have been missing in action (emphasis on the word action!)...so where have I been?
Well, the school holidays happened. Kids were at home, I was juggling work - we had an amazing time… just not quite enough time to write about it.
Although I’ve been quiet on the blog, I haven’t exactly been sitting still. I’ve been Growing. Selling. Building. Travelling.
Doing the work, just not writing about it.
And while I’ve been in the thick of it, it’s reminded me of something really important that I'd like you to think about today:
That is the notion of how selling is easy in principle… but tricky in practice
You’re not just a consultant or service provider. You’re head of sales, head of marketing, and occasionally the one who empties the metaphorical bins.
You already know what it takes to grow:
→ Be visible
→ Generate leads
→ Convert sales
→ Delight, deliver, retain
You know this. You’ve been in business for years.
So why does selling still feel unpredictable?
Why does your stress so neatly follow your cash flow?
Because every day, you’re leading.
Every day, you’re delivering.
And every day, the time to be strategic gets bumped to “tomorrow”, until your once-slick sales strategy turns into a spaghetti junction.
Your audience follows your lead. If your strategy is fuzzy, they’ll feel it, and they’ll follow the conviction of someone else instead.
Right now, the market is split:
→ Those who’ve uplevelled their sales strategy are closing consistently.
→ Those who haven’t… are stuck in neutral.
It’s a choice.
